Patternhand is operated by Setagaya Studio ("we", "us"), which is the data controller for the personal data described here. This policy covers the Patternhand website at patternhand.com. You can reach us at hello@setagaya.studio.
If you enter your email address to request beta access, we store that email address so we can contact you when a seat is available and tell you about the service. That is the only field the signup form collects.
We rely on your consent to hold and use your email for this purpose. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us, and we will delete your address from the list.
If you send us a photo, sketch, tech pack, measurements, or other material so we can produce a pattern, we use it only to do that work for you and to communicate with you about it. We treat what you send as confidential. We do not publish it, sell it, or use it to promote Patternhand without your permission, and we do not use your designs to train machine learning models.

This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies.
We keep beta signup emails until you ask us to remove you, or until the beta program ends and the list is no longer needed. We keep project material for as long as we are working with you and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records, and we will delete it sooner on request where we are not required to keep it.
You can ask us to give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or restrict or object to how we use it. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to port your data and to complain to your local supervisory authority. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know, delete, and correct personal information and to opt out of its sale or sharing; we do not sell or share personal information.

The site is served over HTTPS, and access to signup data is restricted to us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Patternhand is a service for businesses and professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
We may update this policy. We will post the new version on this page and change the date above.
